The Pipeline Transport Institute (PTI) will be the official partner and participant of the 16th International Oil and Gas Exhibition/ MIOGE 2019, which will be held on 23–26 April 2019 in Moscow at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Complex.
On 25 April, in the Transportation and Storage of Oil, Petroleum Products and Gas section, the Pipeline Transport Institute will hold a meeting titled “New Technologies, Equipment and Materials for Design, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of Trunk pipelines”. The event will be moderated by Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Chief Researcher of PTI, Professor N.A. Makhutov.
The meeting will present the results of research and development in the field of geotechnical monitoring of pipeline transportation facilities and monitoring of seismic effects, energy efficient equipment, creation of software systems for planning the operation of trunk pipelines, welded joints ultrasonic testing systems, as well as the possibilities of experimental hydrodynamic stands designed by PTI to study the processes of oil and petroleum products transportation.
OIL & GAS / MIOGE, a large-scale Russian international exhibition of oil and gas equipment and technologies, was first held in 1993. The event will feature modern technologies and developments from the leading Russian and foreign manufacturers and suppliers of oil and gas equipment.
