The Pipeline Transport Institute postponed the conference “Problems and Perspectives of Metrological Support of Oil and Petroleum Products Metering”. The conference will be held on 12-13 December 2017 instead of 29-30 November.
The conference will be devoted to two main topics: improvement of standard support of oil and petroleum products metering and development of technical support in the sphere of metrology.
Representatives of federal executive authorities, Russian and foreign oil and gas production and hydrocarbons transportation operators, research institutes, organizations involved in design and production of measuring instruments and systems will participate in the conference. Among other participants there will be foreign partners, representatives of companies and organizations from Kazakhstan, Belarus and the Netherlands.
“The purpose of the event is creating an international communication platform for discussing issues of metrological support of oil and petroleum products metering. It is necessary to build a dialogue between the legislative bodies, producers and consumers of the services, contributing to development of innovations in instrument-making and measuring spheres,” - said Oleg Aralov, Director of the Centre for Products Compliance Evaluation, Metrology and Processes Automation of the Pipeline Transport Institute.
