Transneft R&D, LLC, delivered reports on scientific, technical and technological development of oil and oil products pipeline transport and products accreditation system at the Russian Petroleum and Gas Congress held in Moscow's Expocenter Exhibition Ground on June 23-25.
Transneft, JSC and Giprotruboprovod, JSC received a diploma in the nomination of «100 Best Inventions of Russia» for the development of an oil pipeline transportation method with the use of the reversing pumping method (RF patent No. 2523923). The diploma was awarded to the patent holders on April 24, 2015 during the meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Russian Agency for Patents and Trademarks (the Rospatent) and the Federal Institute of Industrial Property, which was dedicated to the International Day of Intellectual Property.
Transneft, JSC, with the participation of Transneft R&D, LLC, prepared the Strategy for Environmental Development of Transneft, JSC, till 2025. The Strategy was approved by N.P. Tokarev, President of Transneft, JSC.
In 2014, within the framework of development engineering works of the production equipment department, Transneft R&D, LLC, in collaboration with Transneft Upper Volga, JSC, completed designing of transportable cleaning complex for cleaning tanks from bottom sediments.

The center for construction and repair technologies under the 2014 R&D plan performs technological works aimed at developing methods of evaluating the technical condition of domed aluminum roofs of VARFT (Vertical Aluminum Floating-Roof Tank) containers used by entities of the Transneft, JSC system.
According to the results of the D&E work «Development of a high voltage frequency regulated electric drive with a capacity of 2,500 kW for a trunk pumping unit at the facility of the Transneft, JSC system», 2 patents of the Russian Federation «High voltage frequency regulated electric drive» (Utility patent RU 144730 U1, publication date: July 29, 2014) and «Structure of a cooling system of the cabinet of power electro technical equipment» (Utility patent RU 145655 U1, publication date: September 27, 2014) were obtained.
