2nd research to practice workshop on intellectual property has been held in Moscow for employees of Transneft and its subsidiaries. The workshop was organised by an intellectual property management section within the Directorate of Innovative Development and Research and Development Activities of Transneft in cooperation with the Pipeline Transport Institute (PTI). The date of the seminar was timed to coincide with the World Intellectual Property Day, which is celebrated annually on April 26.
Experts from the industry standardisation section at PTI (The Pipeline Transport Institute) have participated in the 38th plenary meeting of Pipeline Transportation Systems subcommittee of Materials, Equipment and Offshore Structures for Petroleum, Petrochemical and Natural Gas Industries international standardisation committee (ISO/TC 67/SC 2), part of the International Organisation for Standardisation.

On 29 March 2018, PTI Transneft held the last of the three online seminars for the entities of the Transneft system on intellectual property. The seminars were part of the cooperation agreement between PTI Transneft and Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS).
